Skullcandy Knockout Headphones

Are you like me and feel a teensy bit self conscious when you wear headphones in public? I admire people who can comfortably stroll along with a pair the size of small cats over their ears, but I feel a bit weird. I have no idea why, and it's a shame as headphones are the safest option - they cancel out noise without dangerously blasting your inner ear the way that earphones do. They also keep your ears warm and just generally look cooler, especially when slung nonchalantly round the neck when not in use.

The Skullcandy Knockout headphones are the perfect solution! They're much smaller than I thought they'd be, letting me take a tentative first step into the world of headphones. They're also super lightweight, making them perfect for carrying around (if I don't feel ready for nonchalant neck slinging), and come with the cutest little matching carry case for this very purpose. They'd be ideal for taking on a flight, or wearing on the beach when you just want to lay back and chill out. I like them for using with my laptop to watch movies and edit my YouTube videos, and the amazing base makes them perfect for both films and music. The ear cushions are memory foam and super soft, and the faux leather is very stylish and durable. They also come in turquoise and black, but I'm loving this floral pattern! Yes, it is a tad odd that the Skullcandy Knockouts have been engineered just for women, but research has shown that men and women hear sounds differently. So lets just go with that reason for them being headphones just for women, and not because they're delicate and pretty.

By the way, do you like my copper bowl and globe? I got them in my Oliver Bonas haul, along with some other bits. Do you wear headphones or earphones, and why? Let me know in the comments x
