Boohoo Christmas Party and Press Day

A few weeks back this rather exciting invitation (below) arrived for me. Not only was it an invite to the first Christmas event of year for me, but it was also from BOOHOO! Yes, Boohoo - one of my favourite brands that actually sells their gorgeous range in plus-sizes too. The invitation is the CUTEST! You can see my reaction to unboxing it here. 

This is hands down one of the best blogger events I've ever been to. So much thought went into it, everything from the invitation to the mahoosive Christmas tree with presents beneath it (for us!), an incredibly good actor playing Santa and mingling like there was no tomorrow, and beautifully laid tables with a personalised card and gift at each place setting. 

Whilst we waited for dinner we all enjoyed the open bar (maybe a bit too much...) and were allowed to choose an item of clothing from Santa's gifting lounge. I was dead nervous as I didn't know anyone, but it's amazing how conversation can start freely flowing between people who blog and who have drank much prosecco. Ahem. 

We were served a full Christmas dinner, had crackers to pull and festive jumpers to wear. The prosecco kept coming, and so did the dodgy cracker jokes and trivia - plus whole a lot of blog chat and a chance to talk in depth with the lovely Boohoo PR and marketing team. 

It was great to meet Laura from Smile At Style and Jess from Copper Garden - together with Laura from Boohoo we had a lot of fun during dinner. 

  

For some reason we found it hilarious that the Christmas crackers contained tree decorations with corn husks and oysters in them; so seasonal and festive... 

You can see our tipsy shenanigans, which bloggers were there, and what was in those stockings in my vlog at the bottom of this post. I also vlogged at the Boohoo press day which was the following week. This was a brilliant chance to view the plus-size Spring/Summer 2015 collection, and we had the best fun getting metallic tattoos, having mojito ice-lollies and rinsing the photo-booth. 

Thanks so much Boohoo! I've had a blast at both events, and I love the new SS15 collection.
