Jo Malone In-Store Consultation

If you're new to Jo Malone's range of delectable luxury scents, or if you want to try something new from them but feel overwhelmed by choice, booking an in-store consultation at any of their UK branches (or an online one if you can't get to a store) is a great way to spend one-on-one time with a member of the team who will help you find you dream fragrance. With Valentine's coming up, this could really help you find that special gift, and they're currently offering heart-shaped packaging, eek!  I visited the swishy Covent Garden branch where I was taken to a bar area and my consultant asked me how much I knew about Jo Malone perfumes and what kind of scents I like. We worked out I prefer stronger fragrances, but I was open to trying any suggestions from their more delicate scents. Trying the perfumes is done via spraying on card rather than your skin, otherwise it can all get a bit much, and the cards helpfully have the names of the perfumes on so you can remember which ones you like and which ones to discard straight away.  It's such a relaxing experience to be talked through various perfumes and what makes them special. It's so helpful having someone make suggestions as well, I probably wouldn't have given Tuberose Angelica the time of day, but it's the one I bought in the end. It's a beautiful strong smell, not too floral and not too musky.  The Jo Malone in-store consultations are ideal if you're looking for a special scent for yourself, someone else, or even your home (yes, they do candle and diffuser consultations!). You can book a wedding appointment to choose the all-important perfume for your special day, and they also do men's fragrance appointments. These are free of charge, and there's no obligation to purchase anything, but you will need to book in advance. Take a closer look at the range of one-on-one consultations here.
