Too Faced Christmas Goodies

 Too Faced sent me some of their Holiday 2018 range, and my Christmas-loving heart skipped a beat. Festive-scented matte lipsticks and eyeshadows might not be what you'd think of buying for an adult, nor pink brushes with gold stars. However, if you embrace the kitsch of sweet-smelling cookie shadows and cinnamon scented lipstick these are actually the perfect gifts for any age, not least because the quality of everything is damn good.  The five-piece Christmas Dreams brush set (above) is £42, but currently on sale at Cult Beauty and Debenhams, and comes with a decent sized faux-leather makeup bag. The Tickled Peach mini palette is the odd one out of the Christmas theme, but is still part of the Holiday 2018 collection - Sweet Peach being one of Too Faced's best selling ranges. Whilst Tickled Peach is warm, Sugar Cookie is its cooler toned sister, and at £22 each they're both fantastic value for money. The Melted Matte Christmas Travel Lipstick Set (top photo) is a delicious selection of four liquid matte lipsticks. They apply smoothly and feel very comfortable, probably only the festive red and the lightest nude suit pale-faced me, but maybe I'll get brave and wear the browner colours, they all smell divine.  Both mini palettes have a mixture of mattes, metallics and shimmers, and everything is silky and creamy. I'm particularly living for the rich metallic plum in Tickled Peach, though it hasn't photographed as magnificently as it looks in real life.  There's everything you need in Tickled Peach to create a number of looks, and ditto with Sugar Cookie (below) which smells much stronger and is probably a little more Christmassy to me. There's a swishy silver (that's I've only just managed to swatch in shot below), and a beautiful glittery copper, there's a nice mix of flattering brown shades in both palette.
