National Vodka Day With Holy Grass Vodka

HolyGrass

Who could have predicted that society would end up honouring something or other every single day and week of the year? National bin bag day, global cheese week - you know what I'm talking about. Twitter scrolling alerts me to this national and international 'worshipping of the things', and usually I'm not that fussed. But wait, what's this - National Vodka Day you say? A chance to celebrate our love for the world's finest pure spirit? And on a school night!

Holy Grass Vodka very kindly sent me a bottle to try their smooth delight with notes of apple, handcrafted in the far North of Scotland. Named after the Holy Grass that was used to make churches smell sweet, and sold in pretty ceramic-style bottles, this would make a fab gift for vodka fans. However you enjoy vodka (I personally love it in a sweet cocktail, or as a flavour for tomato pasta sauce), make sure you get a vodka fix today - it's positively encouraged on National Vodka Day, as is treating yourself to a boutique bottle from Holy Grass.
