Evian Fruits And Plants Launch Party

Evian Plants and Flowers Event

Last week I went to Liberty for the launch of Evian's new Fruits & Plants flavoured waters. This event couldn't have been more perfect for the official start of spring - we were in a room with more flowers in one space than I think I have ever seen, it looked and smelt heavenly.

We each chose a space on the long flower table to stand next to, each 'work station' having it's own cute Liberty notebook and flower arranging tools.

The Evian chiefs talked us through the new Fruits & Plants range, saying they haven't launched this sooner because they wanted their flavoured water to be perfect. I'd say it's well worth the wait, not just for delicious flavours, but also beautiful bottles and a concept focusing on nature fusions.

Each of the three flavours mixes one fruit with one plant. The pink bottle is Rose and Grape, yellow is Lemon & Elderflower, and red is Raspberry & Verbena. All the bouquet colours at the event corresponded with one of the three bottles, and as much as I loved the red bottle (below), pink is my jam, and I went for a sumptuous bunch of pale peach and pink roses to arrange.

Evian Raspberry Flavour

Being a vegetarian, I got right on board with the plants and flowers theme of the menu - all totally meat free, which is really unusual for an event (and awesome!). We were served goats cheese, grapes and mixed leaves on a beetroot crostini, complete with edible flowers, and guacamole and raspberry on crostini. Beautiful elderflower cakes were brought round, but I went for the almond rose cake with a delicate sugared rose petal. As well as lots of delicious champagne, we also had amazing Twisted Bramble cocktails - a heady mix of Tanqueray gin with lemon, creme de cassis, and some of the Evian grape & rose water. Utterly divine!

It was an amazing honour to have a flower arranging lesson from floristry legend, Nikki Tibbles (below). Her flower empire, Wild at Heart, were very much part of the event, and her team went round giving everyone lots of support as we turned the bunches of flowers in front of us into expert bouquets.

We spied the stunning Daisy Lowe creating her own bouquet (below), and Hannah posed whilst I spotted Amber Le Bon in the background. I was in LOVE with Amber's hair, the best shade of pinky-peach I've ever seen. There were some other exciting (and tall) people there, including Henry Holland, Sophie Ellie Bextor, someone from The Wanted, some people from TOWIE, and Bryan from Westlife, whose photo call we accidentally got stuck in as photographers swooped around us.

This is my finished bouquet (below), and I beamed with pride when Nikki said it was amazing! The actual word she used. I adore the tulips, I've never seen ones like them - they're pale yellow with pink and green patterns on. Love love love.

It was such a brilliant event, what more could you want: flower arranging, vegetarian-only canapés, Bryan from Westlife, and an introduction to some stunning new water flavours. I've tried them all now, and unsurprisingly, Rose & Grape is my fave. Sweet, lightly floral, and refreshing - perfect for spring, or indeed any season. This has to be one of my favourite event goody bags of all time (below), not only the Fruits & Plants waters and the Liberty notebook, but masses of fresh flowers that made my flat look and smell like some kinda flower shop for days.

Thank you, Evian, Liberty, and Wild at Heart for such an amazing night. One to remember. Look out for Evian Fruits & Plants, let me know which one you like the best.
