Ardency Inn Modster - Manuka Honey Enriched Pigments

Ardency Inn is just the coolest cosmetic brand, everything about it from the packaging to the collection names - Modster, Punker, Americana - is rock and roll. I literally want everything - from lip vinyls, to liquid liner and 'semi-goth' lipgloss. I couldn't wait to get my mitts on some of their Modster range, which features some of the most metallic and highly pigmented eyeshadows and pencils that you will ever gaze upon. Their Manuka Honey Enriched Pigments are a curious thing; soft, nourishing honey doesn't sound like the right ingredient for sparkly eye powder. Turns out the honey is what gives these organic, paraben-free shadows an 'unmatched creaminess and glide-on formula'. They are certainly highly blendable, I'll give them that. They also stay put and give my eyes an immense shine. I'm loving Sunday so much! This beige pearl with gold and pink undertones is so pretty, and gives off an almost wet-look shimmer. I also got Disco, a sparkly, smoky grape with silver reflects, and Heaven, a metallic champagne with silver and bronze undertones.

They're all perfect to wear as block colour or to use in a smoky eye, and despite the disappointing lack of honey smell (joking!), these have lived up to my expectation of being the best metallics on the block. Currently unavailable to buy in the UK (boooo!) Ardency Inn Manuka Honey Pigments can be ordered online from Sephora for $21 (around £13/£14) each. Kind of annoying, as although it's a New York-based brand, it's made in France (so close... yet so far...) and has Brit-friendly names for some of the items like Brighton Social and Teddy Boy. But this is definitely a brand to covet, and all we can do is hope it comes to Blighty soon.
