Afternoon Tea With Echo Falls

Afternoon Tea With Echo Falls

Echo Falls invited a group of bloggers to have afternoon tea at The Ham Yard Hotel and try their non-alcoholic sparkling wine. Can we just look at all the things so very right with that sentence - an invitation to TEA at what's rapidly becoming my number one hotel in London! And if that wasn't exciting enough - getting to try sparkling wine - a beverage so dear to my heart (not so much my liver) that I named my blog after my favourite kind!

I rocked up with the always fun Kirsty and Angela, and we were taken to a beautifully decorated private lounge. Tea was served buffet style, so we had to try and look dainty and elegant, even though we were all super hungry and wanted to try everything. Sadly, none of the savoury items were vegetarian - but who cares, the scones (kept warm in napkin envelopes) were unreal

The Echo Falls Sparkling Infusion is a blend of grapes and green tea (my second favourite beverage!) and has been labelled a credible substitute for prosecco. I can concur! It's delightful and fizzy, very fruity, and all the healthy benefits of prosecco without the added stuff that makes you tipsy. This would be an ideal drink for pregnant women, designated drivers, and general non-drinkers at events where you want your guests to feel like they're joining in a celebration too. Guilt-free bubbles indeed!

After much drinking and cake-sampling (and the usual blogger chit-chat) we were all treated to hand massages and nail polishes from the lovely Juliette and Charlie of Toop & Daley. I thought I recognised them from another blogger event, but didn't want to say anything in case it wasn't them (that's the kind of awkward thing I usually do), but they remembered me, and we had a good old chat about that event and all the bloggers they tend to come across. Side note: they always do an amazing job with their pampering skills!

After chatting with Echo Falls about their new addition to the family, we headed off into the night (well, the later afternoon), and were given a goody bag that included a bottle of the Sparkling Infusion. I'm looking forward to getting some friends to try it at my next prosecco and cheese soiree, and to see if they notice a difference between the infusion and the alcoholic stuff. But - yummy prosecco and no hangover, what's not to like!

Would you ever try alcohol-free bubbles? Enjoyed any good afternoon teas lately? Let me know in the comments below x
