Nozomi Japanese Restaurant

Nozomi is an outstanding Japanese restaurant in the heart of Knightsbridge. If you love Asian flavours and dishes (especially sushi), but you want full-on luxury for a special occasion, the beautiful interior and five star service at Nozomi will tick all boxes. As a vegetarian I worry that there won't be anything for me in Japanese places, but oh my god, the vegetable gyoza! Melt in the mouth... as was the mushroom risotto with a Japanese twist. 

In fast everything had such a twist - especially the cocktails. Traditional drinks like Old Fashioneds and Mojitos were given Japanese makeovers; a bit of ginger here, some award-winning Japanese whiskey there. Truly stunning - I don't think I've had such nice cocktails anywhere else in London. And believe me, I've had a lot of cocktails. Shout-out to the prosecco and vodka pear bellini (below). 

The staff were amazing, there's a great atmosphere there, the dishes are fantastic. I went with my sister, Jules, who had not one, but two beef dishes, and claimed the wagyu beef (that looked like raw meat to my non-meat loving eyes) to be one of the best things she'd ever eaten. Take a closer look at Nozomi, the beef and the cocktails - we made a quick (and ever so slightly drunken) vlog whilst we were there, and you can get a better idea of the luxury you're in store for.
