The Best Beauty Advent Calendar

Last year I tried a beauty advent calendar for the first time and was lucky to be given this You Beauty one which featured several different brands. The joy of getting a different beauty product every day for a month made my festive happiness levels rocket. I've seen people go crazy for certain branded calendars that sell out in seconds, and assumed that having products from one brand alone might get a bit samey. But when Boots No.7 offered me their 2014 advent extravaganza these thoughts went out the snow-sprayed window. I have been keener than keen to get better acquainted with this brand, especially as I've heard nothing but goodness about their Protect & Perfect Intense range. I also need all the help I can get with their Lift & Luminate range, especially during these cold, grey months, and I'm loving the inclusion of makeup brushes and several gorgeous lip colours. An advent calendar is the perfect way to try a brand that's new to you, and to enjoy a wee surprise each day (including a cute quote behind each door!). I'm loving advent thanks to Boots No.7!
