Joy
What an appropriate name for this shop! Joy makes you happy being in there - it's full of colourful clothes and treasures. I love shops that, despite being high street chain stores, give the illusion of being one-off boutiques by selling a whole range of quirky things. Bored of looking at winter coats? Stroll into the homeware section! That's enough candle-shopping now, I'm gonna get me a new necklace, or browse through a massive range of amusing greetings cards. Love it.
Speaking of winter coats - this yellow beauty (above) has to be my most favouritest I've seen this season. Mustard yellow for winter! YASSS! I probably wouldn't accesorise with a helium balloon though...
I'm a sucker for knick-knacks and 'bits' and Joy has them a-plenty. Fun little ornaments, tableware, storage, and decorations - always with a sense of humour. Loving that 'sentimental crap' floral tin.
This rabbit cake plate is both creepy and adorable - how is this possible? I want it.
Oh, I forgot to mention, Joy is also a book store. These coffee-table books make wonderful presents - there's something for everyone. I literally spend ages in Joy each time I go there. It's full on cosy and kooky, but if you're not near a branch, I find the website tons of fun too. Joyous!
P.S - I bought the unicorn cushion and the striped paper drinking straws in pictures 3 and 4!
