Camden Passage

Camden Passage

This was a bit of a blogging fail because I thought, ooh I know, I'll write about Camden Passage and show people all the nice antique and vintage shops in this cute part of Islington. But I went on a Monday, when almost all the shops happened to be closed. Oh dear. Anyway, let me assure you that this is an utterly adorable part of north London; a long lane of tiny shops selling beautiful treasures from yesteryear (and some contemporary bits too). Oh, and there's also a Breakfast Club.... hmm, Breakfast Club...

In fact there are several nice cafes here, and a yummy frozen yoghurt shop. It's just off of Upper Street - one of the best shopping places in London, and there's something for everyone here from antique furniture to vintage jewellery. My sister got an amazing Art Deco bracelet to wear to her own wedding, though I can't remember which shop it was from, sorry. Again. Thankfully, one shop doesn't close on Mondays, and if vintage teacups are your thing, Camden Passage will have you covered seven days a week.

I also spied this sign in a shop that just sold inspirational quotes in frames. That's my kinda shop. Like a Pinterest quote fest that you can buy and take home. God bless you Camden Passage, and all who shop and eat in you.
