Rare London Kimono

Rare London Kimono

How do you feel about kimonos? Kimo-NO or Kimo-YES? I'm sorry, lets pretend that didn't just happen. They are everywhere at the moment, and as someone rather partial to a cardigan, I'm seeing them as exactly that - summer cardies for when it's too hot for wool, too chilly for no cover-up at all. But unlike the humble cardigan, kimonos are more likely to be statement garments in their own right - especially if they're an eye-catching floral number like this one from Rare London.

I can't stop looking at this beauty. The print has a slightly smudged look, as if it's in motion. It's going to be a bit trippy after a few proseccos. I'm thinking this will look great with casual summery pieces, as well as being smart enough for evening, or even for work. It also comes in cream, and it was mighty hard choosing which one to go with. Or maybe I stared at both for ages because I was hypnotised by the pattern. Loving your work, Rare London, thanks for making summer-cardies (TM) look this good. Kimo-YES! Sorry.
