The Stylist's Rail at The Hoxton Hotel

The Stylist's Rail at The Hoxton Hotel

If you've never been to the exquisitely designed and laid back Hoxton Hotel in Shoreditch, you should definitely pay it a visit for dinner, or cocktails, or brunch. Or go there for a fantastic event like The Stylist's Rail, a pop-up event which is hands down London's most stylish collective of vintage-fashion purveyors.

An area of the hotel is turned into a beautiful bazaar, with various stall holders offering their wares. Just look at this pink silk Marc Jacobs top above! I loved the white shoes too.

There is a DJ spinning shopping-friendly dance music, and everyone is walking round with a massive complimentary gin cocktail! It gives the place the atmosphere of a party rather than your standard Saturday afternoon in a high-street vintage shop experience. No musty smells and awkward silent stares from sales assistants here, you know the kind of vintage shops I'm referring to.

There was so much choice, though the various stalls were not selling any old tat. This ain't no Oxfam (although, I do love an Oxfam rummage now and then!). This is Shoreditch, you know, and the items on sale were lovingly curated with hispsters and fashionistas in mind. I saw many a pair of brogues, hats a-plenty, and it was white-pointy-shoes-a-rama.

The bags were to die for as well. Everything from neon 80's clutches to glittery or lacey ladylike shoulder bags.

I spent ages looking at jewellery. Just look at these beauties from Bohemian Rose Vintage. Forget accessorising an outfit, these would make it.

It was also good to see that some talented folks were selling their own vintage-inspired pieces. Check out these gorgeous scarves, I wanted them all.

Booze, DJ's, the best-dressed people in east London, and the most dazzling array of vintage to shop from all under one stylish roof, what more could you ask for? Oh, there is more.... amazing fashion maven, Plum, the brains behind The Stylist's Rail, was also giving out imense goody bags filled to the brim with lush items.

I would say, get yourself on the email list to find out about future pop-ups, and come along to the next Stylist's Rail for a much more fun way to shop on a Saturday. Here's what it looks like.
